On the 7th March 2018, our main transmitter (Winter Hill) will be going through some changes to make way for 5G mobile broadband. If you receive reports from residents advising that they are missing channels, a simple re-tune is all that's required.
However, there will be some commercial sites where a simple re-tune will not resolve the issue. For example, sites that have programmable filters in-situ, the frequencies will have to be manually updated before a re-tune will be effective.
Please note, we are still awaiting for the new frequencies to be updated and released. Also, please bare with us if instructed to attend a site - as we are still catching up with sites affected by the severe weather conditions last week.
